Yes, Rodger in a live situation is where the A8 shines!!! it do sound GOOD!!! I'm not a mandolin player or I'd keep it!! All the Godin products I've played are really tops, that company is really on the ball especially when it comes to gutars and mandolins for live performances...top notch quality,sound, and performance...
