I'm posting this for my friend Mike Gross.
Don

Tomorrow's (Friday- March 3rd) "Swingin' West" show will be a Bob Wills 101st anniversary show. It can be heard on WVOF-FM in Fairfield, CT and world wide on the Internet from 1:00-4:00 PM (eastern) on www.swinginwest.com

There is a choice of either Windows Media Player or Quick Time on line.

The show could possibly start five or ten minutes late as a basketball game precedes tomorrow's show.

Don, Thanks so much for the post and Rick, thanks for the bump. I really appreciate your support. It should be a good show with lots of Bob Wills hits by Bob and others.

I'll be on Metro North railing it up to Westport. I'll bring my radio.

Mike, if you see a guy hanging out of the 4th car waving like mad.....that would be me.

I Have been a friend and fan as well of my buddy Mike Gross. We met back in 86 and Mike has done much, very much for helping me re-vive the Hot Club Of America among other recordings I have done over the years. There is no finer human being or advocate to our kind of music than "our friend" MIKE GROSS.
My dad who was a DJ and showman in this area would have loved Mike if he were to have had the pleasure of meeting him. My dad passed the same year I started listening to Mike.
Take It Away Mike and let it SWING.

Jody,

Thanks so very much for that tribute! It is so nice to see you back on the Forum and especially in my corner, my friend.

Ron, unfortunately, with all the years that I have been on radio I have learned to hate basketball as it tears apart music schedules without mercy. I am glad to say that if anything, it should only be the first couple of minutes today.

Mike,

Sorry, I got in a little late, I was hanging out of my airplane landing at EWR and waving to Howard on his train. It's a little windy up there and so am I.

Rick, thank's for getting this to me.

Great Steel sounds.....TX
