These guys can dance! How about that rhythm section?

I'm guessing this was from a recent swing dance revival from about 10 years back. Fabulous steps and great music to dance to.
Thanks Herbie.

When I first saw this, about three years ago, I thought for sure my daughter in-law was stepping out on my son. She is a spitting image of my daughter-in-law.
I sent a link of this to her and her mother asking when she learned to dance like this.
Then her mother asked “Who was her dance partner because he didn’t look like my son.”
My son has a long haul ahead with his Mother-in-Law. Poor guy.

This is William and Maivea (spelling) they are in Europe. This is a boogy Woogy weekend type thing in Switzerland or somewhere. Google they, names at beginning of video. They have their own web site as they are champions...

Hope I didn't screw this up too much, just running off my memory, or what is left of it.

:D :D ;-)

Back in the late 50's and early 60's, when the clubs had bands seven days a week, Thursday night usually had the Jitterbug Contests and we played a lot of Boogie Tunes. First prize was usally $25.00, Second $15.00 and Third $10.00. A lot of money back in those days !

Check the last 2 or 3 minutes of this 5 or 6 minute clip, with Slim Gaillard, Slam Stewart, Rex Stewart, and others. I'll bet some of you saw this film in theaters, way back when.
