Hi Charles,
I use the ZEN by CreAtive. Works well and not too expensive.
You can store videos, music, photos etc. It uses SD cards.
Load files from your computer, and play them on other units.

I'm in the iPod camp. Works well too. Many models to choose from. _________________ On man....let the smoke out of another one. |

I have had 2 Zen's (different models) that both died on me prematurely, but after the warranty. I bought a Zune and have had little problem now for a few years. _________________ Carter D10 8p/8k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup,Regal RD40 Dobro, Recording King Professional Dobro, NV400, NV112,Ibanez Gio guitar, Epiphone SG Special (open D slide guitar) . I have a Sansa Fuse and it's perfect for playing tracks. I plug it into my NV112's CD input. It has built in tone controls for the audio, plays video, stores photos, etc.
It's very small, and can be expanded with MicroSD memory chips, and runs a very long time on a charge. It has all you'll need and it's very inexpensive. I highly recommend it. _________________ Best regards,

The Zen models I had were the Vision M which died often and finally for good. The other Zen is the small one that has the SD card slot (I think it's model name is just "Zen"). It still works, kind of. I keep having to hit the reset button after about 15 minutes of playing. Maybe others have had better luck with them.
The Zune I have is the 120gb model. It has been flawless. _________________ Carter D10 8p/8k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup,Regal RD40 Dobro, Recording King Professional Dobro, NV400, NV112,Ibanez Gio guitar, Epiphone SG Special (open D slide guitar) . Playing for 55 years and still counting. |

48 bucks at amazon for a sansa clip +. 2 gigs holds 600 tunes. Great sound, reliable, long battery life, small, ez USB PC connect, and clips on shirt. Incredible unit (with FM radio, eq) for the money. Hooks right up to a 112 CD input with 1/4 adapter. |

I use an IPOD Touch with a folder for songs I am learning and another for songs I know. I plug it into a small Yamaha amp. 20 watts and weighs about 5 pounds. The amp provides control over the EQ which I don't get when using the CD input of my N112. _________________ 1999 Carter D10 (9x8),Digitech RP150,Hilton Volume Pedal,Roland Cube 80XL,Nashville 112,BJS Bar |

Charles,
Sorry for the late reply. I have the iPod Classic 180 gig. A bit pricey but it will hold every piece of recorded music I own plus video & pictures.
If you go down the ipod/mp3 player road, invest in an external hard drive to back up everything. _________________ On man....let the smoke out of another one. |
