Blizzard in Virginia Beach........Pix
Wow, it's been snowing since last night and It's still coming down in large flakes. This is unnatural for the beach area. I guess we'll stay in the house. To top it off, my water heater went out and I guess we'll have to be "funky" until we can get someone out to fix that! Here are some shots I took out the door of down the street, my old '77 Bonneville, and the house across the street.....JH in Va.

It got deeper than what I showed in those photos as it kept on snowing into the night! It stopped but the temperature's still below freezing so it's not melting. All of the city offices and such are closed today. Good news though, it's supposed to warm up to the middle fifties by the end of the week. I moved here from Southern California over twenty five years ago and I've never seen a snow storm like this one! But that said, I still wouldn't move back to SoCal, I like it here!....JH in Va.

Yeah well, we just got 18" of the white stuff dumped on us, on L.I., N.Y. I'm not ready for this, yet. My back aches and my muscles are sore from shoveling and snow blowing. I'm getting too old for this sh**, so soon.
BTW- Jerry, did you get my e-mail about Bruce Derr?
He was the guy with the Maverick.

Snow
Hi Jerry well we got about 6 to 7 inches over here in Willow spring N.C. just 12 miles south of Raleigh.I can handle this back in Rhode Island where I'm from they got any where from 11 to 15 inches of that white S--- and they can have it. I see John DeMaille,Dave Nuggent,Kenny Dail, and you got more snow than we did. I do not want to see snow again that is another reason Anna and I got out of Rhode Island it is cold and to much snow for me to handle and very exspecive to live there. We love it right hear where we are.Don't forget guys I have a Steel Guitar Jam coming up March 19th and it will be warm and no snow.

Thanks Joe, I needed that photo to warm me up! We've still got a bunch of snow all over the place and it hasn't melted much. It's supposed to get in the high fifties this weekend but you know how weather forecasts are, they just keep changing....JH in Va.

Sammy,I have to agree with John Floyd on that weather check thing,I have driven thru a NC blizzard on I-95 in March some years back...especialy coming over the Mountain areas...Speaking of weather ,while VA was having that big storm last week we had a high in the middle of the night of 16 degrees here in Sunny Fla and in the mid 40s the rest of the day..
