Hey everybody! Long time, no talk!

Post by Abe Stoklasa »

Hey everybody, I haven't been on here in years, and I've recently started finding my way back. I just wanted to say "hey" and to give a little update on what I've been doing.

I graduated college, Belmont University, last May. Then, I started attending the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami for grad school, jazz comp. I decided to take a leave of absense a year ago and work for awhile. I went on the road with a country artist named David Nail for about 8 months, and for the last part of this year, I've been out with Billy Currington.

I'm sure I've missed a lot of great sharing of ideas and music, and hopefully can partake in the future more often!

I was wondering, though, does anybody know where I can find some Curly Chalker? I used to have a compilation an old friend had made me, and I wore it out about 5 years ago. I'd really like to hear that inspiration again!

Hey, Abraham !! I have often wondered what became of you. Seems like only yesterday you were on here as a young school student and very eager to learn all you could about the steel guitar. Seems like at that time you were living in northern Missouri maybe someplace north of Kirksville, in the LaPlata area or someplace ?? Good to get the update, Thanks. :)
