Wow.
I remember drooling over this one when I was a teenager. More pics -- cause that's all I can do these days, is drool!

I like real / tangible value. If I had the money to invest (wish on), I'd snap that right up in it's very rare condition. 1966/67 would have also been the first of the 3 model-years they were made. That model of Coral / Dano sitars are way undervalued in the collectors / investors market ....imho; and that guitar's condition is prime; although that market in dollars is mush right now with no end in sight and complex to project real value vs us dollars value projected to continue to deteriorate; FW my 2 cents are worth (not much).

For that matter, if you do a search you can find an aftermarket bridge that fits Danelectros and converts to an electric sitar (without the sympathetic strings, of course.) I heard a guy play one in Dallas last January.
But--ain't nothing like the real thing, baby. I wish I'd grabbed one of these back when you could hardly give them away.

Listen... bzzzwahhh.
Great guitar, Bob, someone should buy this and bring out their inner sitar.
Lest we forget... Spinal Tap!

And, seriously, Pat Metheny has used a Coral Sitar for years with amazing results.
Great sound and history, too.
