I bought this guitar new . It has the prettiest and shineist black of any guitar I've ever seen . I tried to capture the beauty of this guitar on camera but it's impossible , at least with the camera that I have .Charlie put 12 coats of automotive finish , clear coat over 7 coats of paint and it is absolutely beautiful . 3 pedals and 5 knee levers , Emmons setup . It has polished knee levers . GeorgeL' E-66 pickup . It also has the "old style" Derby decal and a new mat finish fretboard . 24 1/4" scale . The plush Thomas tooled case is in new condition also . I just put on a new set of strings and I'll include the clip on Derby volume pedal which is a $200.00 value . Reduced from $2750.00 to $2600.00

Thanks Doc . You're right . This is a great sounding guitar . This guitar sounds a lot like an Emmons push pull and the Derbys are very well built , notice the undercariage . Stays in tune too . no mechanical issues . Here's a chance for somebody to own a laquer body Derby at a fraction of the cost .
I'm reducing the price to $2600.00 and it includes the Derby clip on volume pedal .

Thanks for the comments Ward . This Derby plays and sounds great with lots of sustain , plus she's very beautiful . There's a lot of quality that went into these guitars . I'm glad that they are continuing to build the Derby guitars since Charlies passing .
If you measure from the center of the rollers to the center of the changer it's a true 24 1/4" scale .
Most ShoBuds were 24" scale . Emmons , Derby and several others are 24 1/4"
