Hey Joe. PM sent about the ZB. The blue ZB history is top secret info. Even Wikileaks doesn't have the straight dope on it.

Did you just say dope?

That's what happens when you sell your ZB. :)

Keep warm Duncan,

Yes Russ, the term "dope" has often been used to describe me after I do a stupid thing, which I tend to do... well... often, If you can think of a better term than "dope" to describe a man who sold not one, but two wonderful ZBs in the space of a year then I am open to learning a new descriptive. When you combine this with my passing on two opportunities to buy, quite possibly, the only known orange ZB in existance I think that the term "dope" is being very charitable.
The only thing that keeps me from jumping off my roof (the 30' high side, not the 8' side...hey, I have a weird roof) is the knowledge that my old blue ZB is probably much happier being played by someone like Joe C., who is a much better player. I suppose that the best path to my redemption would buy that orange ZB...IF SOMEONE WOULD LET ME HAVE THE CHANCE!!! Hello, Hello, is the gentleman with the orange ZB listening, or better yet reading???
I am trying to keep warm here, but it's becoming impossible. Yesterday morning there was frost on my truck window. I tell you it ain't easy being me.
Have a beautiful night in the Great White North.

I've sold three ZBs so I feel your pain. Now, if I don't sell some pianos I'll have to sell a fourth!

It's cold up here.

I think I found my new avatar photo. A shot from last night opening for Asleep At The Wheel! Lots of red on stage that night. Played the S10 ZB in honor of Tom Brumley's birthday!

New Retro Steel Guitar ZB demo. Limited Edition guitars. New quick change bellcrank mechanics for accuracy. Top half of the changer is exactly the same. Pickups as original. That fantastic sound. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=briH_r9HX1M

Okay guys. After reading all your gushing posts about ZB's, I guess it's time to pull out my ZB and get back to practicing. Today is the day!

Here's a pic from the opry of Sonny Curtis and his zb.
emailed the pic to Greg Jones to see who it was he got
right back with the name and serial no of his guitar
and who had it now. Wealth of info.
ImageThis pic is not the opry but that tv show?

I found 2 off the list. The first one was serial #1080 on July 25th 1967, the other 1102 in December of 67. Greg might know of others.
