ZIRC BARS left

Post by ed packard »

The Last of the White 15/16", and the Black 7/8" are in sight. Just 10 White, and 30 Black are left.

The White 7/8, and the Black 15/16 are still in good shape.

When these are gone, there will be no more made.

Just ordered my 2nd zirc bar. Got my first bar earlier this year and it's all I've used. I love the feel of the zirc bar, and real or not, I can tell a subtle difference in tone. It's going in my stocking...Merry Christmas!

I'm taking my zirc bar to The American Legion tomorrow afternoon to let a friend try it during his gig. So Ed, you may have another customer wanting a 15/16". If he wants one he better hurry, you're running low on those. Now he does let the bats out of his wallet now and again...more again than now...but a fair chance he may buy one.

Plus, at the AL there's BBQ half- a- chicken plates there for 7$. What could be better than eating some chicken, listening to some good music with some seasonal northern & some local friends - while sending nasty notes to the steeler that reads something along the lines of - "Turn the suck knob on your amp down!" ?

I was a little Skepticle about this bar being that it's a little pricey, but I swear it's a bit faster sliding and I can still hang on to it well, thus I hope improving my playing somewhat...just got it so time will tell! But so far worth every penny. :D

Well, we did a highly scientific test yesterday at the Legion with a zirc vs BJS bar, played on a universal MSA Millennium, and Bud Light was the beer of choice. He constantly changed bars throughout each song and I picked a prime seat to listen.

The results: I thought the zirc made more of a difference on the highs, the player thought it was more at the mids. So there you go, definitive evidence. :)

And the zirc bar proved to be "lucky" as well. I literally shamed him into spending $2 for 3 50/50 raffle tickets (bats did fly out when he opened his wallet) and he won. On his way home he gets food to go near closing time at Luby's, he got a full steak and a pie for free since they were going to throw it away. Then buys a $1 lottery ticket at a convenience store and wins $10. Then buys a TX lotto ticket for Wednesday, watch out, the next millionaire in waiting.
