You got a link to the tab. I can't seem to find it.

It's in the Non-pedal *sticky* in the Tablature section. It's the most recent song posted.
Kenneth, at first I was a little confused by the tab, but then I remembered... there are two different melodies for "Away In A Manger"! There is the Carl Mueller melody, which is the one most commonly printed in the USA. And then there is the J. Spillman melody, which is more popular in Europe, I believe. Your tab is the Spillman version.
I posted some E9 PSG tab for this song a few years ago and a forum member from the UK didn't recognized the melody I had posted for "Away in a Manger"
The Mueller melody goes like this (start on high G and work down):
[tab]
3/4
G G F E E D C C B A G G
| A | way in a | man ger, no | crib for a | bed the |
G A G G D B A G C E
| lit tle Lord | Je sus laid | down His sweet | head |[/tab]

Thanks, Doug. I'm just starting to read TAB. I printed out Kenneth's TAB and ran downstairs to try and play it, and figured I must be doing something wrong, because it sure didn't sound like "Away In A Manger" to me.Doug Beaumier wrote:

Your right about the two different versions. I have become so used to this version that I forgot about the other 'more common' version.
This is the one in our hymn book at Church.
Also, I always post the tabs in the tablature section. Then put any comments in "Steel Without Pedals" to keep the tablature for just the tabs. I forgot to mention that in the post.
