I'm thinking about switching from XP to Win7 64-bit soon. All of my device drivers seem to be available now and I like the idea of having a 64-bit OS.

I'm wondering about backup software. I know that Win7 has some kind of backup included. Is it any good? Currently, I use DriveImage7. Several times a year, when my computer starts slowing down or gets a virus or whatever, I reinstall from my clean backup image and all is good for a while.

Is there something that works equally well and equally easily for Win7? If so, what is it? Acronis maybe?

Gary;
You'll want to check out Acronis True Image for backups and imaging of the entire computer/boot drive. The newest version is 2011. I use it every day for various backup jobs and once a week to create an image of the entire PC. Images contain all of your drivers, licenses, activations, programs, data files and settings.

I am an affiliate for Acronis and I do earn commissions on sales through my links.
