A one pass solo using a root and fifth thumb
for this instrumental which is sort of based on
the Clawhammer Banjo technique.
The difference being of course I play it on
the Lap steel standard 6 string C6th tuning
E--C--A--G--E--C High to Low.
No end to possibilities!!

Thanks, Roy - as a veteran guitar fingerpicker, I find myself slipping back into this style on the lap steel all the time. It's nice to get some validation - I really enjoyed it! |
