Topic: Has anybody received a Nigerian spam addressed to BFSteel? |

This is clearly another scam, and I think it's directed against us. The addressee is "BFSteel(at)hotmail(dot)com," and my E-ddress was obviously blind copied.
Did anybody else get this?

I haven't received anything from this particular address but I have received offers of prescriptions from guitarbulldogmusic at yahoo dot com
This is obviously a hijacked email address, most likely owned by someone on the SGF, because it has addresses of several well-known SGF members in the CC line.
I have no idea if the true owner even realizes that his email has been hijacked.

Bent, this did not come from "BF Steel", it was sent to him, and BCC'd to me. We can assume to was also BCC'd to hundreds, possibly thousands, of other people, and I was wondering if the spammer somehow got b0b's address book list and spammed other people here.

Mmm. Interesting. I have had a couple of funny emails from steel players which just has a hyperlink in the message. I did notice that it was an email that had a lot of other steel players names in the bulk email. I ignored it. These things happen. If it has no message or content that I was expecting I delete it. And certainly if it had an attachment, which, I don't remember these emails having!
