The Date has been set for Feb. 18th. It will be at the FINISH LINE in West Fort Worth, Texas, starting at 2:00pm and going until ???

Dale Jr. has had some expensive surgery, and will be unable to perform for a while, so A bunch of his friends will get together and help raise some money to help him out. He is the kind of person who would never ask for help, so I'm asking on his behalf.

If you want to check out more on the subject, please look on this forum under "Our Extended Family". Thank you all!!

I have done several recording sessions with Dale many years ago in Nashville, this is a wonderful person as well as a great musician.

Anything anyone can do for this great fellow musician will be appreciated not only by myself but his great family as well.

Please attend this function and do what you can,

Bobbe Seymour

Thanks guys! I spoke to Dale yesterday, and he was experiencing more pain than the day after his surgery. I think that's the way that goes. He said to say thanks to everyone for the prayers, and well wishes. it really does mean a lot to him.

I'm sending a check to his home address today to help with the household expenses, and Buddie Hrabal was sending one also. Anyone wanting to do likewise, may make a check payable to (any ammount would be usefull) Dale Morris Jr. - 6041 Blueridge Dr. - Watauga, Tx. 76148 It is still a couple weeks untill we have the benifit.

I know a lot of his friends will be working on the 18th of Feb, but they may contribute in other ways, and it will be greatly appreciated! Thanks again, Chuck

Chuck,

I received the particulars from Krista & Timmy D. and I told them that unfortunately I can't make the event but that I will be plugging it on all of my "Swingin' West" shows for the next few weeks.

Thanks everyone. We're gonna play some first class COUNTRY MUSIC that's for sure.
I sure appreciate all the help getting the word out. I'm trying to get a responce from some of the BIG NAMES. Hopefully they would want to help one of the best musicians there is. There will be donated items for auction, including a guitar signed by all the performers. God Bless Dan Roberts for his contribution, even tho he will not be able to attend the Benifit Jam.

I spoke to Dale Morris Senior, and he's donating a fiddle, all set up to play, and it will be signed by various folks, and auctioned at the benifit. He (Dale Sr.)said it was a real player, and he should know. If you're wanting a fiddle, this could be the one to bid on.
