I have nothing to do with this sale, but thought I would put up the link for all interested parties...

It would be interesting to know exactly what tunings and pedals Bobby put on each neck

The seller seems quite knowledgeable. Does anybody know who he is?

From the shot of the changer end it looks like he might have had an E or D 9th on the outside neck and a C6th with an E on top on the middle neck.

The reasoning is it has pulls on strings 1,3,4 & 8 which would equate to raising the two G#'s to A and the two B's to C# if you had an E9 tuning without the chromatic strings.

On the C6th neck it had two pulls side by side on strings 2 and 3 which if raising those strings a whole tone each would give you the infamous "Thompson Pedal" (Kenny Dail's favorite)

For the time frame this steel was made, the inside neck was probably an A6th as Bobby was well versed in western swing and it was one of the main tunings of that era............JH in Va.
