Thanks Randy for remembering my dear friend John Hughey. I think about him often and the good times we had together with our wives Jean and Barbara.
Thank You,

Thanks for the kind words Randy. I am very humbled that you would put me in the same category as John. It doesn't get any better than that. Looking forward to seeing you sometime soon.
Your friend,

Thanks you Randy,

I'm sure you make a lot of people happy about this video's. I'll think a lot of people miss him to. We must remind "Pappa John" as a great person and a great friend. I'll remember when I was at the ISGC St.Louis in 2006 or 2007 you bought one of Pappa Johns Zums right? I hope you still have it.
Also I want to give the big Roy Rosetta and the other players from the band a big complement for what they do for all steelplayes.

With Respect,

Marcel

Marcel, Yes I do and still have John's Black with the Rose wood top Zum. I am very thank full to have it. It plays and sounds great. I do a lot of recordings, and play out during the week. I keep it close to me at all times. Thanks for asking. If you want to hear what it sounds like with me trying to play here is a sample.

Here is a short video of a band I played with at the last moment. First time we wver played together. I just set up and played, not perfect, but we had some fun.
