Peter...Thanks a lot for the info....You have made my day....With a playing style and tone like that it simply had to one of the best.....J D is surely up there with all of them...I'm pleasaed to hear my ears were right on the money...It has been suggested that, the organizing committe of the Irish festival were going to try and persuade J D to come and play there next October 2011....Irish steel players need to get on the phone with their votes, What a weekend he will provide...Ok sir...thanks again and happy holidays to all

Let me know when you get you black push pull emmons, I will come and have a look. I know how your brain works. You hear something you like, then you buy it! Ha. I must admit, you can 'hear the steel' in that steel guitar sound. Am I Irish enough to vote for him coming over.? I've got my bag packed for my visit with you and waiting for your call by the way! Troy and his family came out to the Hideaway a few weeks ago when I was filling in for you with Carmine and the guys. His dad is a great singer too!
