And, here's why...
Not only is this guitar beautiful and mechanically
smooth and effortless to play, but, the tone is great
and sustain (in my opinion) is second to none.
A long wait, but one that was well worth it !!
And, Gary is a super guy to work with. Thanx Gary

You are so right! There are a small handfull of guitars that come close mechanically - but NONE has the amazing tone of a Rittenberry. I absolutely LOVE my Ritt - my other guitars are jealous!
Maybe I should order another one while I can still get one.....
Thanks again Gary - I am very grateful.

Hey Scott, that's another beautiful steel from the master.
You'll enjoy that for many years, so tomorrow take a break,
and enjoy a very Happy Thanksgiving Day with a turkey dinner.

Scott Welcome to the Rittenberry club my friend. Great looking steel you got . That Gary sure knows how to make a fantastic playing and sounding steel for sure. I love my Rittenberry and would never sell it. And Carl I see you own two of them now cool. Scott enjoy it and congradulations. |

Amazing looking Rittenberry...bet it sounds and plays like butter!
I just picked up my new Ritt from my teacher's place yesterday...I only took delivery of it a day before going away overseas and I had my first lesson and brought it home yesterday so now I have it and even my teacher who has made his living off being a professional steel player his whole life (and he's bloody good) said that after spending time playing it and setting it up while I was overseas (I got him a nice bottle of scotch for doing so) he thinks it's one of the nicest guitars he's ever seen. Very precise action and beautiful sound. He plays and owns a Sho-Bud LDG.
The Rittenberry is amazing. Solid precise build quality in every way, the pedals are easy and precise, and the finish and tone on it are beautiful. I haven't played that many steels myself, but I'm pretty sure I've got one of the best there is and dammit I'm going to take it to my grave! (hopefully not for a few years yet). |
