What are the specs of your PC? The important ones for video playback are amount of RAM, CPU speed, Internet connection download baudrate and amount of RAM used by the video adapter.
Try opening a video stream on CNN and see if it will go fullscreen with content. If not, your connection to the Net is too slow, or your PC has insufficient RAM, video adapter memory, or the clock speed of the CPU is too slow.
You can free up resources by closing all un-necessary programs and processes, while watching online videos. Turn off email checking and close any other browser tabs or windows.
If your PC can take more RAM, go buy some. You can find this out and buy more RAM from my RAM webpage. Use the link to the Crucial AM Advisor and choose the appropriate selections. If this doesn't come up with the right solution, download and install the onboard RAM tool and run it. It will issue a report in a browser tab. If your PC can take more RAM it will tell you how much and provide a link to buy that exact type and size as required by your own PC, or MAC. _________________ "Wiz" Feinberg, Moderator SGF Computers Forum
