Phil
Boy, you're on the ball, ahead of us all this month!!
Your info is correct. We are looking forward to next Tuesday for our monthly (except December) jam.
I'm sure Skip and Blake will chime in to keep this post current.

EGG ON MY FACE!!
That's the last time I'll take Phil's posts at face value. (That's a Ha HA Phil)
And how about Skip not catching that little glitch on the date? He must be practicing on his steel.
I hope all that ends well is well!! Thanks to Danny for catching the glitch and Blake for confirming that it was a glitch.
Lookin forward to next TUESDAY's meeting.

A big thanks to Blake Hawkins, John King, Phil Bender and Skip Ellis for thier considerable steel pickin' skills. Blake and Phil brought and played two steels each!!
George Basley (on drums) and Blake gave us a rendition of Texas Drummer Boy.
Danny--Please note the milage or date to our jam just doesn't matter if you don't come.
Thanks to all. We will continue as long as such great folks support us.

We all had a really nice time at the Jam.
Phil and I had a little "show n'tell" with lap steels.
John King had his Derby and Skip Ellis was playing his newly restored Sho-Bud.
Thanks to Tom and Clyde for making it all possible.
Remember we will NOT have a December meeting/jam.
Our next get together will be in January.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all.

You 'bout said it all, Blake. I think everyone had a great time last night - I know I did. That's the most I've got to play steel in a long time and I can sure use the practice. You guys who drive a long way deserve a round of applause coming down and supporting us every month and Tom and Clyde deserve a double round for keeping the whole thing up and running.
To those of you who I won't see at Catfish Johnnie's next month, have a very Merry Christmas and a great New Year. See ya in January.
Does anybody think we need T-shirts? _________________ 2022 Brook Lyn, 2014 Martin 000-18, 2022 Ibanez GB-10, two homebrew Teles, Evans RE200 amp, understanding wife of 49 years. 'Steeless' at the moment |
