John ask me to post this thread and attach a picture of his new Jackson BlackJack.
This guitar has four pedals, with the zero pedal on the first and five knees. The color is starburst and is the third Jackson guitar to incorporate their new soundboard design. The redesigned soundboard is some what different than traditional Jackson models, as it is thinner in the middle and thicker on the ends. This new soundboard produces a clearer/cleaner sound while playing anywhere on the fret board. John's S-10 guitar has the rich tone like a D-10 body guitar. I liked John's Jackson guitar so well, I ordered one last week. I almost forgot to mention. John's 1961 Sho-Bud Permanente is pictured behind his new Jackson BlackJack.

I want to thank Mike for introducing me to his Jackson Madison model--it convinced me that the Jackson combines the sound of a classic steel with easy, modern functioning. I also want to thank David Jackson for building such a fine instrument--I have not purchased a new pedal steel in about 36 years, since I bought a new ZB!
