That is the Sho~bud that Dave B. has. It was the one that he heard me play many moons ago; that inspired him to take up the steel guitar. I can't think of a better person to have it.
Sorry Guido; I'm not a big myspace-er....or facebook-er.....I have them; but rarely get on.....if I have to listen to one more person; say the spilled coffee on their leg walking around the house in the morning; I'm gunna throw up.....ha.....
So I check those sites maybe once a month.

Thanks so much for posting this. I really enjoyed it. Saw Dale once (we opened the show), and was truly blown away. In addition to being a great band, the nicest guys you could ever meet. I believe Russ? was on steel, a blonde bud into a WEBB. Killer sound.
Would love to see Ricky on steel some day. Your work on the Ms. Leslie stuff is an absolute clinic on how to back a Honky Tonk singer.
Thanks for being so generous to the steel community over the years.

No one should be allowed to have as much fun on a steel as Ricky! No, stone faced glare at the steel for him, he was having WAY to much fun and playing surpurbly (if I spelled that right). Heck, I enjoyed watching him as much as the song. :D
Nice Ricky, very nice!!

Hey thanks for bumping and the very kind words everybody.
I got stuck at the office here watching the whole thing....we sure were good back then...some great great songs on there that Dale just won't or ever do anymore....that's a shame.
Maybe he left those songs when I left....not to sound egotistical; but we arranged them together like that; and you just can't capture that with the new band.
Nice blast from the past; and a great display of passion for Music.....that just is not there anymore.

Ricky, I enjoyed listening to you play live while I was in Austin. That was a cool place you guys were playing. I went to Austin to buy the Rains guitar from Bob Hoffner, and I planned on coming straight back home, but when I heard you were playing in town, I had to stay. I didn't get home until 4:00 in the morning, but it was worth it. Great job.
