To obtain one "7 string steel pkup." I may have to use two "guitar 6 string pkups." staggered to cover the seven strings. Is it best to connect them in series or just connect them together in parallel ?? ? These will not be the best "hi quality" pkups !! Which way is more efficient ?? Thanks !! the old geezer - A.K.A. When I used two guitar pickups on my 12 string, I couldn't decide between series or parallel. I ended up wiring the two pickups to a switch where I could have it either way with a flick of the switch. Parallel gave me a thinner sound while series gave me a fuller sound.
