Happy birthday to Tommy. I guess he would have been 72. I sure do miss him and Leon Chambers. The Dallas show is not the same without them.

Salute to Tom in remembrance. I listen to dinosaur music on a regular basis. I'm grateful to him and his friends for keeping this music alive and out in front of people.

I still can't believe his playing on "I Can't Give You Anything But Love".

One of my continuing projects is to introduce people to the music of Tom Morrell. Any musician who comes to my house will hear at least one TM track.

I too miss Tommy. The project has stalled since Bert's death. Don't know if or when it might get finished.

I've been told by Craig Chambers that the CD project with Johnny Cox & Denny Mathis will continue soon.
I've completed nine songs (I play piano) and Tim Alexander is scheduled to play on the remaining cuts.
Release date? It's too early to say, but maybe in time
for the next Texas steel show.

The first year I attended TSGA and walked into that ballroom on Saturday night and heard Tommy Morrell and the Timewarp Tophands I knew at last that I had not been born too late after all.

I'll second that-the first time I got to hear Tom live was one of the great musical experiences of my life.
