Yes it's true - they call my Daddy Hound Dog. I wish he could join me in Gulfport as I know he would really enjoy the great music played as this jam. But I'll be there with the camera and the mini disk recorder. With permission of the players, I'll capture a part of their set and play some for everyone on my show on SteelRadio.com.
What do you think Bill, do a little recording for the cyberwaves?

What a special treat Lana! Christmas presents in Feb. Just can't get any better than that with you being down here to grace our stage, show and efforts. Thanks so much.
You must get Hal Higgins to perform "How Great Thou Art" on your video program. And the great Jr. Martin Family Cajun Band. Special treats for you and all. And to be able to top all this off with great players like Ron Elliott, Joe Wright, Buck Grantham and especially "Big" Will Stewart. For those who do not know, Will lost his left arm at the shoulder years ago. He now plays pedal steel with the best of the best. Buck Grantham was mostly responsible for the design of the artificial arm Will uses with a bar permanently attached to the hand. The determination and love of this instrument can not be depicted any more than watching and listening to "Big" play. And BIG he is-in all respects. His talent and character is a delight to see, hear and to know him in person.
Hope to see you all soon.
I have had the distinct pleasure of being invited to the big show in Mesa in Jan. coming up and will see a lot of dear friends there. Very anxious to hear Billy Easton and his "Three Wheel Drive" band again. They are the best in the WEST!~

Bill, we are so looking forward to being with all you guys...and I am anxious to see James Shelton. The fellowship of these shows has always been at the top of our lists. If we hadn't made friends in this business, who would ever call us? Leslie and I want to take this opportunity to thank you all and to wish each and every one a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year...see you all in Feb. Ron Elliott

Hi Bill ; And Hello to All, Looking forward to the February show. The line up is really great. Hopefully Sera will be in for this one. I have not been able to help out very much due to the Hurricane Katrina Disaster here on the coast. We have been very busy in the cleanup and Re- Building efforts. As to date there or approx: 180 thousand homes and businesses destroyed on the Louisiana and Mississippi Gulf coast. I have just returned from the the East New Orleans area and it is literally a Ghost Town. Again, I am Looking forward to see and Hear everyone at Gulfport Ms in February.
