Howdy Jack, please realize that I consider you a forum friend and I mean no negative connotations here here on my post but I would love for you to give a thought or two just to say thanks to someone that has obviously went out of their way quite a bit to try to help members on the forum and to be an active and helpful person and is also trying very hard to contribute to members that don't have the money to buy high dollar effects like you have received with Sonar 8.5.3 which is a killer app and has lots of great VST plug-ins?
This is the 1st time I've seen Mr. Bullard post anything here (although he might have hundreds of posts and I just missed then and he is only trying to be a positive poster and has obviously went to a lot of work to copy and paste over 20 links to a lot of free plug-ins.
You may have tried every free plug-in that he has linked to here in his post but even if you have tried all of them and thought they all were bad that doesn't mean someone else might not like them.
Maybe just one time would it hurt you to say well maybe something like this: (Hey Mr. Bullard wow thanks for trying so hard to hook some of us up with free VST Plug-ins. That is the great team spirit we love to see here on the forum! I probably won't check any of them out but by golly I'll bet there will be several members that will be glad to try out some new free and fresh VST Plug-ins! That is so nice of you trying to help us all here! Thanks)
I can't recall right off hand who Mods this section and it might be you Jack LOL but if the Moderator or even Jack feels this is an offensive post please feel free to delete it or move it to an appropriate section.
But like I mentioned in the very first part of my post I promise you Jack that I am not trying to badger you or do anything that might embarrass you or even possibly even make you mad I am only thinking of how nice it was of Mr. Bullard to post all of those links to the free plug-ins.
Whether you realize it or not this area of the forum sometimes goes for days on end without anyone posting anything that is useful to any of us that stop by to read this area, and all I'm hoping to do is keep folks like Mr. Bullard coming back and posting links to the rest of us that do enjoy to check out new free VST plug-ins.
Jack please remember that I actually do like you and we have had a lot of personal interactions and the only thing I'm trying to do here is keep new posters posting in this area and the last thing I intend to do is be mean spirited or be judgmental of you in any way I just want to keep posters adding nice new links such as these I hope you take my post as it is intended!!

Howdy Mr. Bullard I downloaded 4 or 5 of the free vst's and so far I have tried 2 of them and they are top notch. I tried the "freeverb too" and used it on a buss to spread some verb around and I'll say it was pretty smooth and had a very nice smooth tail as if it was a pro verb! thanks I'll let you know how the others turn out!! Please feel free to post free vst or anything you feel is worth sharing!!

Thank you Sir. Will certainly do that! Mr. Stoner, did I do something wrong? I can't see what you wrote, so my apologies if I violated the forum terms of use. All the plugins are free, completely legal, and have seen a lot of use here(I am a rookie, greenest of the green when it comes to PSG but I am a longtime recording engineer and even though I own Sequoia a 3,000.00 software suite and have purchased WAVES and dozens of other plugins, things are such that now amazing products can be had for very little money and/or free!..these compare easily with the ones in Sequoia, and even WAVES to my ear) |

oh yes, and Mr. Martin,
for the record, I own Altiverb(very expensive) but to be honest, I use SIR (free) more than anything.
it is easy to get lost in the choices(there are literally thousands available for SIR) so I tend to pick 4 or 5 and concentrate on making them sound great) |

Hey there Mr. Bullard thanks for the info about Alti-verb I haven't had a chance to use it much in my little studio but I have heard great things about it!!
As far as you doing anything wrong please do not give it a second thought you have done nothing wrong and we appreciate all of your input on new free plug-ins and anything else you can help us with!!! Just keep up the great team spirit!!!!!
If anyone has done something wrong it has most definitely been me! I should have worded my post in reply to Jacks post in a much more positive way and reading it now it seems as if I was being mean spirited and hateful towards a long time pal and for that I am very sorry Jack!!
The only thing I was meaning with my post to my pal Jack was I just didn't want us to cause someone to quit posting or possibly feel like we didn't appreciate free plug-ins or cause you to feel bad! I obviously can't post for Jack or put words in his posts but I am pretty much assure that Jack meant no malice towards your posting a bunch of free plug-ins actually I should not try to say any more about his intents but I will say that him and I have been friends here on the forum for several years and he has always only wanted the best for this forum!!
I want to publicly apologize to Jack if I offended him when I replied to his post. Jack I publicly and humbly ask you to forgive me for posting something that might have been hurtful to you!!! I will go on to say that you are one of our most knowledgeable posters in just about every area of the forum!!! Please forgive me for posting something that seemed negative towards you and your opinions I promise you I meant no harm or malice towards you and it will not happen again!!!
I thought it was about time for me to clear up this thread and while I am at it I would like to apologize to anyone else that I might have hurt or offended with my post to Jack! Guys I'm just a human like the rest of us and I swear I never want to be known as a trouble maker here on B0B's wonderful forum!!
Thank all of you for your patients and understanding of my meaning of the post in question!
May God Bless all of us here on the forum!!!!
