Had the opportunity to go hear Tyler in Garnett Kansas Saturday night. He just started with Joe two weeks ago and this was his tenth show. He's fitting right in with the band and really likes his new job.
Tylers playing continues to improve all the time.
However the boy from south Alabama learned a little about Kansas weather. The temp dropped about 20 degrees in 45 minutes with a strong wind of about 20mph and it got COLD!! Welcome to Kansas Tyler!! It didn't affect his playing though sounded great as ever.

I guess I'll be the first to congratulate Tyler on his new job with Joe. I know he will enjoy working for Joe as much as I did. Joe is truly one of the best country singers that loves steel guitar.

Hey for all the Alabama gang, Tyler will be playing with Joe Nichols at the Boggy Bayou Mullet festival in Niceville Florida this next Saturday 15 Oct. Come on down and support one of finest young steelers in music. We were up in Branson last year and got to hear and visit with Tyler when he was playing with Wade Benson Landry. It will be a great treat to hear Tyler again.

Boy, I really should get on here more often. Laughing Thanks guys. I really appreciate this. Marty, it was great to see you the other night. It's been a while since I've seen a lot of you guys. I've been with Joe about a month now. It's really a great gig, and Joe is in my opinion one of the best country singers out there today. It's nice to hear a George Jones shuffle or a Merle Haggard song at a concert now days. You can find our schedule at www.joenichols.com. I'd love to see some of ya'll out at the shows. Mike, make sure you track me down. I'll most likely be at catering. Laughing
