Looking for some help.. I've tried to find this on my own with search for the last few days, but I am having no luck.
I just got a NV400 Amp and was searching out reviews/thoughts on AMPS a few weeks back and came across a post where somebody had a .pdf of a handwritten list of the Pro's AMP settings from one of of the steel guitar conventions (St. Louis I believe from the early 80s). The post may be too old to be indexed, so I'm hoping somebody can either post the topic link or maybe the author if they recall...
Also I'm specifically hoping for Lloyd Green's settings. I recall seeing his name on the list... so perhaps I have the amp model wrong. Still I think the jist of the post was that everybody was using this amp so they just adjusted the settings as players changed.
I'm sure others would be interested so can anybody help out?
Thanks in advance,

You may possibly be refering to an article that appeared in the final issue of "Steel Guitar World" magazine. If so, the amp settings were for a Nashville 1000 amp, but they should be fairly similar for a Nashville 400 or at least serve as a point of reference. I will check with b0b to see if there is any problem with posting them. |

David,
It maybe a magazine article, but what I recall was a hand written list of all the performers settings.
Bud,
Hmm... may just be my amp, but that didn't sound great...really muddy. Still thanks for the pointer.
