Hey Stephen,
I can keep time, it's 12:30, but I might be rushing it a bit.
OK OK Truce!!! You know I was just funnin' and we really did appreciate you filling in when we had no bass player at the last jam. I am bringing a bass player for Saturday night to help out. I'll see ya there and I'll buy the hot dogs.
[This message was edited by Jim Hartley on 02 November 2005 at 04:48 PM.]

Hey, Jim, I SURE hope you didn't think I was serious! (For those reading this, Jim is one of the FINEST drummers I've ever heard, or played with)
But my bass playing is about like my dancing---Folks know they've been exposed to SOMETHING, they're just not sure what!
Jim, Wayne, Woody, Jerry---Even a newbie like me knows that Saluda wouldn't be the same great show that it is, woithout you guys (and a few more players )

In all this foolishness, I forgot to mention two guys who've really been tons of help. Hats off to L.M. English, for helping get the P.A. straightened out---L.M. has done as much for the local guys as anybody out there, and he's STILL at it. THANKS, L.M.
And Terry Rogers, for doing such a great job as emcee. Terry's got the right personality for the job, know lots of jokes, AND, he's one of Herby Wallace's favorite singers! You don't get much better credentials than that!
So thanks to Terry, L.M., the folks in the kitchen---all those folks who do the REAL work!
Oh, yeah, if any of y'all see Larry Moore, tell him,"Steve says 'Hello'".

Stephen I will also see you Sat. You will not believe the works on this Pro. 1, it is not only the pretist guitar you have ever seen but the best playing, it is smoothe, responsive, long sustaining, best sounding.
Just you wait and see. My Professional will not be ready till the last week in Dec.

Hey folks,
For those of you who may not know about Robert Rogers, let me tell you, we are all in for a real treat. Robert is one of the really fine young players who just keeps gettin' better and better. If you haven't already planned on being in Saluda this weekend, make your plans now. Trust me, you don't want to miss this fine young player. Oh yeah, that Hicks guy ain't too bad either.
See ya there,
Jim
