Late 30's Rick in very fine shape. got the big pickup and single volume. The case is in good shape but for the tape covering the handle and a little of one edge tolex loss. Latches all good and case very solid. Asking $1,200 + shipping. Just finished repairing my 7 string Rick and ready to let go of this one. Thanks for lookin', Rocky

Great looking Rick Rocky.

I am going to watch this one closely. I hope you get your price. JB paid cash for one just like it 12 or so yrs ago at Scotty's and the price was $1500.00. But not until after he looked at the serial number. He said, he had been looking for that one for yrs. And he just had to have it.

I had offered 600 for it and the man who owned the booth selling it, ok'd the deal. So I went to get the money from my room, and when I got back, the man said, I hate to tell you this but JB just left here, and told me the story. I would have been a bit put out, but since it was Jerry I had NO problem.

If your guitar sells for your asking price, I am immediately going to put my 7 string up for sale on here.

Good luck,

c.

About that olde Rickenbacher Bakelite...................

That's a mighty clean looking Bakelite....the pickup cover is shiney and not corroded and the neck looks good as well.

Surely, someone will not want to miss this beautiful little instrument.
