I have a Fender SteelKing where the buttons for Mute and Limiter are dead on the front of the amp. I noticed that Mute function is OK when I'm using the pedalboard that followed the AMP. It would be more convenient for me if I could have the buttons in front of the amp available.
Does anyone have any idea what causes this problem and how I could fix it?

Thanks!

Well if the foot switch works then the circuit is fine it is a problem with the push buttons or a bad solder joint for the buttons. Thats where I would start but you will have to start taking things apart to beable to really trouble shoot the problem.

Make sure the footswitch is unplugged from the back of the amp.
