Randy Beavers will be the featured guest in the Steel Guitar Room at www.sweetsouthernsounds.com on November 1'st, 9pm Eastern/8pm Central/7pm Mountian and 6pm Pacific.
Come on by and join in on the fun and learning experience. Invite your friends too. It's free and its easy access. No telling who of the "big boys" will show up and share in the discussions too.
Oh,,,,don't forget to set your clocks back one hour Sunday morning,,,,it's that time of the year again for those of us affected.
Have your mic's and/or type text ready for Randy. It should be a very informative hour and a half or two session of priceless information.
We've already had four other sessions with Jerry Brightman, Mike Sweeney, Chuck Campbell on "Band in a Box", and Robby Springfield. As far as I know, recording for personal purposes will be allowed.
So, make plans now to come on by and be a part of the great happenings in The Steel Guitar Room.
It's at www.sweetsouthernsounds.com just follow the simple instructions and click on Steel Guitar Room. That's all there is to it.
Hope to see you and your friends there Tuesday, November 1'st at 9pm Eastern.

I went to this website tonight and tried to log in, and the site came up in what looks like Russian. What is the problem? I did install the plugin. I do have a "Learn to speak Russian" program, but don't think I can speak it fluently by Tuesday.

This is a great site. I'm on dialup so I some times have trouble staying on, hope I can catch it tonight. Randy is a top player, and you can usually get some real good help from guys like Mike Sweeney and Bobby Bowman and others. I think this site is second in importance only to the forum for good info and just good company and music.

WOW, what a night. We had 90 fine folks in the room at one time last night

Big Thanks to Randy for graciously donating his time for this Q&A session. I had a blast, and I know the others did also. Lots of good info from a super fine picker!!

I'd also like to thank Larry Simpson, who's generousity has allowed this chat room to become what it is. Ray Walker, my buddy, if it wasnt for you and Boo Miller getting this thing off the ground a few months ago, we all would not have had the opportunity we have had in the past few months to enjoy such fine musicians as Jerry Brightman, Mike Sweeney, Chuck Campbell, Robby Springfield, and now Randy Beavers!! The list just keeps growing and growning. I'd like to give a special thanks to my friend Jerry Brightman for stepping up to the plate and getting this whole thing started. A bunch of us had talked about getting something like this going in the chat room and kicked around a few ideas, and, the next thing you know...we are packing the house!!

Thanks to everyone for making this such a fine place to sit and chat with fellow pickers and wannabe's (like myself). I have learned so much from all the fine folks and made a boatload of new friends. You folks all hold a special place in my heart.

As soon as we nail down some dates and times we are going to have a few sessions in the near future. Look for announcements soon (maybe even today yet!!).

Come join the fun folks, I know you certainly won't regret it!!
