Convention Pic's

Post by Bill Dobkins »

Did anyone get any pic's of me on my set with the backdrop. Debby Johnley took some with my camera. But their not what I'm looking for . I want to use one for promotional needs.
So if any one took one I would love to have it.
Thanks BD

There's usually pictures and reports from the ISGC all over the forum, but not this year.

A sign of the times?

The wife wanted to know why I went to St. Louis and why she had not heard from me all weekend.....

Well....I told her I went to a Teddy Bear Convention in St. Louis and even showed her a picture to prove it!

P.S. Had a lot of fun, many fantastic pickers as always (but please don't tell my wife I am already starting to make plans for next year)

The ISGC has it's own section on the forum and I have been checking in here since the weekend and have not found any photos except one of Smiley, and the Teddy bear.?

What's the story on the stumpy little guitar the bear is "playing"? It looks like a pretty serious instrument, but to what purpose would one build such a short PSG?

Maybe it was built for someone who plays very little.

I am a professional photographer and a steel player. I got a lot of great pictures last year, but I shot very few this year because the stage lights weren't on and the lighting was very poor. What's up with that?

Anybody know why the lights weren't on?

OK,

I posted some of my photos from the convention on my web site. I used the same site as last year, so this year's photos are at the end.

As you can see, the stage lighting added a lot last year. It seems to me the production level was way down this year. The difference in the pictures are pretty obvious.
