Went to see Charley and the boys last night in Pueblo at the State Fair Event Center. Charley put on a great show and was singing the best I've ever heard him sing. There was a large turnout for real country music.

Ronnie and the guys were just great and supported Charley to perfection. Tone was good, balance good and no kick and bass to drive you out the door. No ringing ears-still able to hear as good as you could when you went in. Ronnie took me back for a meet and greet and I was able to get the Live at Panther Hall Album signed. Charley made a comment about Lloyd Green being on the Album. Ronnie lied a little, he told Charley I was a steel player but that is okay cause I will get even later.

My oldest son went with me and he was impressed by the entire show but really was impressed with the drummer & keys. Also commented on how great the mix was- that you could hear every thing and nothing was too loud. I don't know all of the guys names but did talk to Billy Martin, great guitar and singing. Reggie R on the acoustic and fiddle. You know who they are-the same ones that come and play with Ronnie in Dallas every year. They are planning a big surprise for March. Billy would not let the cat out of the bag so we have to wait. They are all excited about doing the Dallas show as the rest of us are about seeing and hearing them. Ronnie's GFI was singing clear as a bell, great chops and taste.

Got home at midnight and back to work this am draggin a little.

Go see this great show if you can.
George

Derek Spigner is the drummer and is a super drummer and the nicest person you've ever met. Reggie Rueffer plays fiddle and rhythm guitar for Charlie and is an amazing musician and super guy. I think they will be playing at Pearls in fort worth saturday 4 sept with Chad Rueffer.

Very Happy I was there too George, and it was great to see you again, and I have to agree Charley and the guys put on a great show, if you folks get the chance and Charley Pride is playing near you go see the show.

By the way Ronnie plays some real cool Lloyd Green licks in the show especially on "Kawliga".

Hey George, & Red,
Thanks for coming out to the show, that was a great audience...Red the Mexican food (Green Chili) rocked, thank Linda again for her choice of the Restaurant..
I spent over 20 yrs in Denver, and I always look for ANY reason to return to Colorado.
I wish my good friend John Macy could have made the show, but he was up to his neck with work @ his studio in Denver, sure would have loved to hang/eat with him also, we go way back.

Hey Bill, how's it going?? have not seen you forever.

Darrell. I agree with all you said about Derek, and Reggie The rest of the guys are all top notch also.

We are @ the Vermont State Fair tonight, Jerry Fessenden is coming out this afternoon, should be a good time.....Cya...Ronnie
