Emmons E9 Copedent with 7 string whole tone pull, and
2nd string 1/2 pull. Standard C6 copedent.
A few scratches in the front apron. The pedal bar is pretty rough, needs a professional polishing, and was tapped for an Emmons style pedal. Thats where the flaws stop. When I recieved this guitar, this is what my inspection noted.
1:Es not returning to pitch properly on E9
2:Headstock screws missing E9
3:Changer shows signs of little or NO lubrication
4: String 6 not returning to pitch properly
5: Changer hangs on pedal C Raise, lowering finger bent interferes.
6: C6 copedent completely non-standard
7: String 4+5 C6 Pedal 4 non-tunable (Pedal Stop too short)
8: Neck screws over torqued
9: End plate screws loose
This guitar sounds and plays fabulous. It has been COMPLETELY overhauled...So for the inquiring mids...heres a list of the things I accomplished
Total tear down.
1:Removed all pedal stops and center rail. 5 new bushings inserted and lubed entire cross shaft group.
2: Remove changers. Soaked in solvents, Sonic bathed, lubed with Jet Engine Oil, checked all raise lower function.
3: Replaced 6 worn return springs
4: Cleaned and polished comb plates
5: Reassembled Guitar
6: Re-rodded both necks to factory specs
7: Hand polished both necks
8: Restrung with New Jagwire Strings
9 Reset ALL pedal Stops
10: Tuned all pedal stops and the entire guitar to Newmans tuning.
10: Tested through amp and played the guitar for 1 hour.
It doesnt sound like a lot...but it took me ALL Day today to finish...Offered for 2750.00,plus shipping.
