While at Bobby's house gettin the levers fixed up on my Emmons he ask me to convert a VHS tape to DVD mainly for his Dad!
I ask Bobby if i could post these and he ok'ed them!
It took me a month to figure out how to get the audio to work after upload but i was finally able to convert to a MPG!
Guys, Bobby Boggs kills it in these clips! What an awesome talent to have just a couple of hours up the road! A South Carolina steel picker! Thanks Bobby!
My new speed picken buddy!

Let's see, a lead guitar, a great steeler, and a drummer who must have thought he was in a stadium with a marching band. IMHO there is nothing worse than a "deaf" drummer overpowering everyone else in the group. I sure hope Bobby doesn't need a drum beat that loud right behind him to play. |

Thanks for the comments!
Hey Bill, the drummer is Bobby's brother as well as the guitar player!
I think if you heard them live it wouldn't sound as loud!
Them boys can get it done better than most!
thx....km _________________ www.youtube.com/krmsr59 |

A big thank you to the K-man for going trough the trouble of posting this on YouTube. Even though most, if not all of us get a Video has not been processed warning. True, Kenny's a much better picker than he is puter guy. But his prices are reasonable.
I also need to thank. Steve, Skip,Dave, and Mike for the nice commits. You guys are way too kind.
I could never relax at steel shows. So therefore I never played very good. A lot of clams here. I can't watch it without cringing. The licks sound a little dated. But, after all it was done 20 years ago.
The same amps where used on all the clips. A Session 400 and 67 Twin with a 15 JBL. The clip with the lacquer guitar was miked and run through the house system. As was all the instruments. All were recorded on an 80's video camera. And what Kenny had to work with was a copy of a copy of a copy.
AS for the band. Both the guitar player and drummer are my brothers. Though we had a kid band when we were kids. No one in these clips had worked together as a band in 15 years are so. They were nice enough to get together for one rehearsal. Then drive a 150 miles round trip to play the show. All in all I felt they did me a pretty good job. And worth every penny they were paid. Which was nothing. But that's show biz. |

Hey Bobby,
you're right, i ain't the best at puters but its awesome to see you play!
Guys, Bobby is a very humble and is his own worse critic! His bad licks are better than my good ones!
I will post some more as i am cutting a few more out on the saved VHS tape on my puter. These will only be posted as Bobby approves them!
thx for the kinds words Bobby but i enjoy doing it!
all the best man BB!

I made Bobby a DVD set on all three shows from the VHS tape so it will be safe going forward!
Hope your Daddy is doing well and has been able to watch them man!
