Buddy was one of my "heroes" when I started playing Pedal Steel. He was picking with ET at the time. Buddy and Leon were a great act.

I had to play this one at Medora throughout last Summer's gig ('09).

It was a constant challenge, and I never really nailed it! It was fun trying, though!

Hi Jamie....that clip's been on the forum before or via a link...Amazing. I recall a quote from Buddy Emmons ... that he quit playing "his" version of steel guitar rag after he heard Buddy Charlton's version. Now that's something

The Big "E" still picks with E.T., Equal Temperament, that is.

I attended a county fair many years ago and ET and the Texas Droopydrawers were performing. When Buddy took a ride, I was just amazed at the way he danced all over the C6th pedals with both feet!
