Two great gospel songs with the second one done solo. Jesus Loves Me was done all on C6 and mostly with the 6th string E to F knee lever.

Thanks for the comments Bill. And while we're at it, can you beam me down to North Carolina, maybe in the Charlotte area? Last time I visited my son there, I didn't want to leave! Winters up here in PA are getting on my nerves since I stopped snowmobiling and downhill skiing.

Very nice Four Old Guys website Kevin. I do think the Sho-Bud is my favorite tone especially in a live situation. I would like to record different brands of guitars with the same setup for comparision.

My favorite gospel song for the steel is A Mighty Fortress. I started to learn it and by the time I got the middle figured out, I couldn't remember the beginning and got so frustrated with all the chords that I gave up on it. I've heard some great renditions of it on the universal tuning with the low bass notes though. That convinced me that my next guitar is going to be a double 12, extended E9th and Johnny Cox like tuning on C6 if I could find a steel manufacturer who would cheerfully put all those changes on one guitar!

I also love the classic gospel songs. One i hope to learn to play is , " It Is Well With My Soul ". Doesn't sound to difficult for a gifted player , but i'm not gifted.

I've listened to several of the gospel songs you've done, Greg, and really enjoy them.

I'll have to check that song out Skip. I've pry heard it but don't remember it. I'm about done recording for a while and am putting some of my stuff up for sale. I've got 5 more songs in progress and will add that to the list if time allows it. Thanks for the lead!
