Can anyone tell me the best gauge to use for this model guitar? I wanna' put a standard C6 tuning on it in a big hurry for a gig and it's been so long since I strung it up that I can't remember what I was using. I don't have time too experiment. ANy suggestions?

This is a heavy set for tight strings:
E .015
C .017
A .022
G .026w
E .032
C .038

If you want lighter strings use this:
E .012

A .020
G .024w
E .028
C .034

Thanks Andy. My memory is starting to kick in now. These look very similar to what I remember. I got away from playing the lap steel for too long I guess.

+1 ... good strings and would be a good set of gauges for your BR9.
