Further Milestone-------700+ gospel tabs

Post by Erv Niehaus »

I just finished up a dozen or more gospel tabs and did a count.
I came up with just over 700 gospel tabs.
The Lord is good, all the time!
Some of the last gospel songs tabbed out are rather obscure, dating back to the 1800s.
Even an old song that Hank Williams liked: "Lonely Tombs".
Just drop me an e-mail and I will send you a list.
"Give Praises To The Lord On An Instrument of Ten Strings". (Psalms 33:2)

Bro. Erv,

Well, about 2 or 3 harddrive crashes ago I had your list of tabbed-out tunes.
Looks like the list has grown considerably.
Do you mind emailing the updated list to me?
Or, next time you dig out, just drop it in the mail.

Will you also include your list of available backing tracks, CD's, and maybe a couple of tickets to one of your upcoming sold-out stadium concerts?

Thanks for all you do.........Joel

Erv,
Thanks for the speedy response. I'll be ordering some of your backing tracks.
You must have sent the tickets via snail-mail.

Hi Erv...Recently received my order...they're great! Will you be getting around to "Broken and Spilled Out" (Gloria Gaither) in the near future? The short version is in the "Sing Joyfully" hymnal...Bob

Bob,
Thanks for the heads up on "Broken and Spilled Out".
I found the song and will be tabbing it out.
I located both the shortened and the long versions.
The short version is in the key of G and I think that's the one I'll be doing.
I'm always looking for more songs to tab out.
After tabbing out over 700 songs, I'm kind of running out of material.
Right now, I'm waiting on a couple of more gospel song books. :D

Erv - I applaud you, not only for your work to promote Gospel Music, but also for your steadfast stance for Christianity. I know there will be a Gold Plated Steel Guitar waiting on "Streets of Gold" avenue. May God bless you and your work brother.

Erv yes sir we are all sinners. No denying it!!

Mark 16:15 (King James Version)

15 - And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

I would say music is an excellent way to get the word around. Your tabs are great!!!

God Bless,
Larry

Larry,
Yes, you are correct about spreading the Word through music.
Every gospel song is a three minute sermon unto itself.
I have over 1,150 names on my mail list that I have sent gospel tab to and I send tab to several countries around the world.

However, receiving my tab is a lot like salvation. It's fre but you have to ask for it.

God is good, all the time! :D
