Fender dbl 8 non-pedal, legs and case

Post by Bryan Ritter »

This guitar still plays beautifully and is complete with 3 legs and case. It has been refinished on top, and the volume and tone controls and neck switch work perfectly. The chrome on the pickups was worn and someone finished the tops with a black "crinkle" paint...I intended to have them re-chromed but have not done so. The case shows age and use, as shown in the pictures, but all the latches still work. I played one of these for ten years before pedals and have enjoyed this one since I got it. It has a pencil date of 1948 or 1949 (I can't remember which)
under one of the tuning key assemblies. I will sell it for $900, including shipping to any of the con48.
E-mail me at bryanritter105@comcast.net for any questions.

Finally....here are the pictures of the Fender guitar.

Some details would be helpful! Is this a Walnut guitar? Is the finish and condition all Original? Do all components function properly?

John Bechtel:
I apologize. My first post is further down this page with the complete description (same topic name) but no pictures. I was having trouble uploading them. When I did add the pics, I accidentally added them as a new topic, which is shown here without the description. Thanks to Jamie, he has put this ALL TOGETHER with "Bryan Ritter wrote" in his post here. Thanks Jamie! I did not know I had made such a mess!!
Also, as payment, I would prefer a money order or a bank cashier's check. I do have a Paypal account, but I don't want to pay the fee on this item and certainly don't want the buyer to do so.

I have deleted the original ad, and copied the text of it into this one.

Price reduction!!!

Now $800, still including shipping to any con48. I may lock this in as final and keep it. I'll see how it goes from here.
