This Sunday is the ASGC Jam held at the 290 West Club.
A big thanks to JD Faron at the 290 West Club and the Band-
Gus Brown Drums, Jim Hiles, Bass, Leon Grizzard, Guitar.
The 3rd Sunday is a free lesson for new and intermediate players.
The Austin Steel Guitar Co-op is a Co-op and unlike an Association it has no dues or fees.
All events are free and open to anyone that wants to come and hang out with Steel Players and the Band.
It does not cost anything to support ASGC.
Just use our links on the website if you need any online music gear.
I will be placing a bulk string order this month.
Always looking for Victims (Oops) I mean volunteers to do anything from Play guitar, Teach, take pics or...
just hang out and have a beer.

| I sent Ken some charts; maybe charts is too grand a term actually, but rather a email with youtube links and the lyrics with chords to a few tunes that some players may not be familiar with. Just stuff like Floyd Tilman's Cold, Cold War, the Swing tune Marie, the Mavericks Secret Flame, and the like. Nothing too hard, but sometimes it helps to see the changes rather than figuring them out on the fly. If anyone wants a copy, send me a pm with your email and I'll send you a copy. Or just bring your folding music stand and I'll have some copies at the meeting. |
