I think I have seen the list somewhere and as usual, it always brings up the subject of why Bobbe is not on it? I guess my question, as many others have pointed out, is why in the world is Bobbe Seymore not on this list? What element of requirement has Bobbe failed to meet? Can anyone tell me who has done more to promote the steel guitar or made more contributions to the steel guitar community than Bobbe?
Barbara Mandrell..Don Warden.....really? I guess Bobbe will lose out on the "cutesy" part and being the manager of a lady with a couple of big "hits", if that is what it takes to qualify. A little recognition for a job well done is not asking too much and I hope the St. Louis committee decides to actually follow their own criteria and give Bobbe his well deserved dues......please!
