One other thing: The "Riboflavinoid" that Whip Lashaway mentioned is, basically, vitamin B2. I haven't seen the product ingredients or recommended dosage, but you might want to compare "Riboflavinoid", as a product, with over the counter vitamin B-Complex or B2 dietary supplements. The "stress" varieties of these may contain the same amounts of riboflavins as "Riboflavinoid". Possibly, at a more economical price... I'm just sayin'....

Hmmm? Did I give some erroneous information in my last two posts? If I did, I apologize, as I'm not a trained medical professional and I only know what I read in my research into the subject. Please correct any errors I stated, for the benefit of the Forumites I intended to advise. Cheers!

Glenn: Sorry, no offense AT ALL. I believe I was referring to the one that read: the voices now override the ringing. ---or something like that. I hope he was kidding. I've had tinnitus for a long time, but my cause is probably loud noise. When I was in medical school, I worked at night as a stationary engineer--around loud machinery. All the above posts would be well taken for medical research.

I have had it for a few years now - something about hitting 60 year old mark. I treat it like listening to my ex wife - I ignor it. There's a laundry list of causes best thing to do is follow up with your ENT doctor.

I worked with the big "Alco" diesel engines while in the Navy, and have played music ever since. I have Tinitus constantly. It hisses, mostly in my left ear, but also in the right. I called the 1-800 phone number to see about the product that they advertize will make it go away, (Supposedly invented by a Drummer) Quietus. The guy on the phone quoted me the price, and it was pretty darn steep. I wouldn't mind paying for it IF it works, but I can't afford to buy it then find out it does nothing. I'm like most have posted here, I've learned to live with it. Someone said he thought his was D#, mine is more like E flat minor with an added nineth.
