I would like to say thanks to the Pedal Steel Guitar Association of New York for giving Jerry the Clay Savage Memorial Appreciation Award 2005 for his work he has done with Austin Stewart. The New York Association has given Austin and other young players there support the last few years and we thank you. Donna

I would like to second that. My best wishes to Jerry and Austin and the family. Sure hope you all can find some more of these young folks to shepherd and teach this fantastic instrument to. It has been good seeing and talking to you all at Branson and St Louis. I also enjoyed the pickin that Austin, Johnathan and Mr Buck did in the Mullen Room Sat evening.
God bless you all.----Skip

Yes ,we have to have more young people learning the steel or we will go to seed. It's a joy to show Austin and Jonithan something to learn.

Congratulations Jerry---well deserved my friend! I really enjoyed you and Austin's performance at the show in Tulsa this year! My grandfather was my best buddy growing up and he also played music (fiddle) and I played "second" on the old upright piano. I can hear him now, let's play "Little Red Wagon!" Keep up the great work Jerry--Carl

Thanks for the kind words for Jerry. He's having the time of his life picking with Austin. Buck, As soon as Austin got home from St. Louis he was trying some of the things you showed him. He loves that lick in I just Destroyed the World. He put it in a FAST song the other night at Barling. Jerry bout fell out of his chair!!!!!!!!!!! Donna
