Hey,
I just heard this tune for the first time in a while the other day and remembered how brilliant Sneaky Pete was on this one. Does anyone have any of the licks tabbed out for E9? or just the break at 2:26?
Here's the song on Youtube : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RCqxq6xqoXI
Thanks,
Josh

Steel break
Hi Josh,
Sorry I don't have tab but I will tell you what I play. Its not note for note but it may get you by. I just started learning this and came up with it yesterday.
Key of Eb
6th fret string 8,6,6b,5, pluck 654 with a and b releasing then applying a, 9th fret with a and f, slide to 11 with a and b,slide to 13th a and b,
11th fret strings 654 the 543( plucked twice), then same strings with a and b (hold notes)pluck again the release pedals and play strings 3 then 1, 4 then 5, 11th fret strings 543 pedals a and b, then without pedals, slide to 9th with a an f, slide to 6th fret with a and b.
It follows the same pattern as the last two lines of the chorus.
Hope it helps
Regards
Phil

The Search function
Hi Phil -
Hopefully this is just a temporary systems glitch.
But do try the "Search" link, located in the upper right hand corner of every Forum page.
For example, you could click "Search," enter "sin city" in the Keyword box, select "Tablature" from the Forum Section dropdown, hit Search at the bottom and voila: you've got a pageful of entries to pick thru. You can play with the search words to narrow it down further.
Regards, FF.

Thanks so much Frank and Phil! I got it. This is such a beautiful lead! One of my all-time favorites.
Here is Frank's tab if anyone else wants to try it out. You won't be disappointed.
