Great job and with Loretta looking over your shoulder the pressure must have been intense. :)

Great job as always David !
What did you use with the Sho-Bud to get that
"almost perfect" dobro sound?
Doesn't sound either like a "Bobro" or a "Matchbro"
to me.
Thanks.

Hi

Post by David Hartley »

Hi John. It is a match-bro but after playing with it for a while I discovered that it only sounds authentic when playing single notes on strings 5 & 6 only and also playing in the lower fret positions too. Strings need to be picked quite hard too.. Nice to hear from you John. I am writing tab for this over the weekend and will let you know when it's done. I will make the track downloadable too.

Jamie. Hope you are doing ok. I do all the video myself. I film all parts while actually recording the audio using tripods then I edit using apple final cut. I love playing around with all the features within the program. I have 1 wall in the studio which has a green chroma key screen on it and anything can be placed in the background after you have filmed yourself in front of the screen. It can be movie or still pictures. I have a great idea for a future video which I will get round to doing soon using chroma keying and another feature within the video editor too. Oh, and it's all done with one small HD camcorder too. I am uploading another one today but it has no chroma keying. It's one I recorded while I had a few minutes free during my working day in the office yesterday. Another instrumental of a female classic country music song.

Regards to you all. Dallas will soon be here again. Only 8 months away. Ha.
