Hello;
Sometimes while reading thru some threads on this Steel Forum someone mentions that they used to work for the Emmons Guitar Company.
This is in NO way meant to bash this company so please do NOT do it on this thread. I am just curious as to who all of you has at one time or another worked for the Emmons Guitar Company.
If you would be so kind as to add to this thread I sure would appreciate it. PLEASE list :
When you worked there? (example May 1970 - Aug 1974 )
What did you do when you worked there?
If you were there only for a week - fine put it down. It seems as if they had quite a few folks thru the years working there at the company.
You could also add any other historical or other facts you feel might be important. I am sure I am not the only one out there who would be interested in knowing this. I know several of you who dealt with the company a lot thru the years would also know some info too - please chime in also if you want to. Thanks for any info you can provide!!

Ron, I worked there in the late '70's through the early 80's. We were building push pull's then. I was there when Big Ron built the first LeGrande. I left soon after that and returned in 2002 for a few years building LeGrandes. Bryan Adams and Jack Strayhorn also worked there at one time or another. Both are Forumites.

Hello Doug;
Thank You for your reply. In fact it was a post of yours the other day I was reading where you said you had worked for the Emmons Guitar Co. I had never heard you had worked there & I got to thinking how many other folks have worked there over ther years.
Thanks again for your reply back. I really appreciate it..Ron _________________ "Tone is in the hands. Unless your wife will let you buy a new amp. Then it's definitely in that amp."
