Steeler/Guitarist Position Available in Dallas/Ft. Worth

Post by David Alexander »

The Marcus Lindsey Band is seeking a pedal steel player who can also perform as a second guitarist to the lead singer who handles most of the lead guitar work. (You do not have to be a great guitar player, I know from experience!) This is a cover band which also mixes in a good variety of classic country and rock music so the position will require a versatile player. Marcus is a seasoned musician with a good following and consistently books some of the best clubs in the DFW area for above average pay ($120+). They are on a 5-6 club rotation and play mostly weekends but two of the venues are 3 and 4 nighters. These are a great bunch of guys that won't allow drug usage at all and very little alcohol usage during their gigs. I hate to leave the band but have a road gig starting in August and promised I would try to find a replacement. Send me an email with your phone number if interested and I will forward your info. to Marcus. Thanks, DA

Well, I don't play enough guitar to qualify, but I'll contact David anyway. He has already recommended me for another band, even though that didn't work out. Thanks Jimbeaux! :D

Way to go Jim!! : side note to Jim. For payback; the fellow that fired you while you were playing in Ohio has since got the boot. Good luck!
